E-Giving Program
Calvary Church has recently begun an e-Giving program that will allow members the convenience of giving via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT.) EFT is a way to send money without having to write a check or use cash. Funds from the member’s bank account would be transferred directly to Calvary’s account. You would be able to remit your pledge to the general budget and also pay building fund pledges with EFT.
The program will benefit both the church and the member. For the church, it would reduce the time needed to hand count weekly offerings, and provide for easier forecasting of future contributions and cash flow. For members, giving is facilitated through the convenience of automatic bank deductions, and you would no longer need to worry about getting behind in your pledge.
You may ask, “What about my Sunday morning offering?
I feel funny about not putting anything in the plate.”
You can still use your envelopes - just write "Electronic"
or "EFT" on the outside and place that week's (empty)
envelope in the plate.
To participate, please complete the linked Authorization Form. If you cannot open this electronically hardcopies are available in the church literature rack. Return the form to Nancy Flint in the church office. Try it and see if it works for you. You may withdraw from the program, or change your bank account easily by submitting a new authorization form. All authorization forms and financial information will be kept strictly confidential.
What you give is your response to Christ’s love in your life. This will not change – but here is an opportunity to give your offering in a new and convenient way.
